Pink Hospitalized on New Year’s Eve, Shares Recovery Update

Pink closed out New Year’s Eve in an unexpected setting, sharing a personal update from a hospital room that reflected both struggle and resolve. The singer used the moment to look back on a demanding year and outline a clear mindset for the one ahead, offering fans an honest glimpse into her recovery and outlook.

The “Raise Your Glass” singer, born Alecia Moore, posted a selfie on Instagram that immediately caught attention. A large bandage stretched across her neck as she rested alone in a hospital room. The image marked a quiet end to a year filled with emotional and physical challenges.

Pink revealed she had undergone a medical procedure involving her neck and described it as part of a larger commitment to caring for her body. She explained that the new year would begin with “two new shiny discs” in her neck, adding that the process was about healing rather than cosmetic change.

“I want to say Happy New Year’s to everyone. I am so happy to say goodbye to the snake year and welcome in the horse. I am leaving behind all of my hurt in 2025,” she wrote.

Reflecting on the Weight of 2025

Pink described 2025 as a year that tested many people in different ways. According to her, the past twelve months ranged from deeply painful moments to everyday frustrations. Still, she acknowledged that beauty existed alongside the hardship.

“This year was a doozy for all of us and it ran the spectrum from absolutely devastating to mildly annoying. In amongst all of that, there was so much beauty,” she shared.

Despite the challenges, Pink expressed gratitude for being able to stay present in her children’s lives. She highlighted time spent loving her daughter Willow Sage and son Jameson, whom she shares with husband Carey Hart. Helping them chase their dreams remained a priority.

She also spoke openly about loss and change. The year included saying goodbye to people who mattered deeply, while welcoming new connections. Dreams came true, and others turned into difficult lessons.

“I’ve realized dreams this year, as well as nightmares,” she wrote.

Choosing Healing Over Perfection

As the year came to a close, Pink emphasized respect for her own body. She addressed the visible scar on her neck with honesty, framing it as a reminder of resilience rather than vanity.

“It may not be a fancy Face lift, but I am getting two new shiny discs in my neck. A new scar, a new reminder, that I appreciate this vessel that I have and use it for all it’s worth,” she explained.

Pink also pointed out the physical toll of her career, noting that “Rock ‘n’ roll is a contact sport.” Known for high-energy performances and acrobatic routines during live shows, her body has carried years of intense movement and impact.

While she spent New Year’s Eve recovering, her family was snowboarding. Even so, her focus stayed fixed on what comes next.

“And as I sit here by myself on New Year’s Eve in a hospital room while my family is happily snowboarding, I know that 2026 is going to be better because that is the choice that I have made,” she wrote. “I hope and pray every person can make that wish, have that choice.”

A Clear Promise for the Year Ahead

Pink made it clear that the upcoming year would be shaped by intention. She committed to choosing joy, releasing old pain, and staying mentally present even during darker moments.

“I’m going to choose positive thoughts over negative ones. And I’m going to rage against the dying of the light. I’m going to reclaim my wild,” she wrote. “And I’m going to keep searching for the light, even as I experience the darkness. #onwardsandupwards as my father used to say.”

Her message closed with a hopeful note for others.

“Happy new year and may you experience more joy than sorrow, more sunshine than rain, more love than hatred. Let’s shed that old snake skin. And find our horsepower.”

Pink is widely known for bringing maximum energy to every performance. Her concerts combine powerful vocals, choreography, and aerial stunts, a level of physical demand that helps explain the strain she recently addressed while focusing on recovery.

Her New Year’s Eve message carried a direct and thoughtful tone. Despite loss, health setbacks, and emotional weight, the year reinforced the importance of family, self-care, and conscious optimism. The focus now remains on healing, respecting physical limits, and moving forward with clarity and renewed purpose.
