Jimmy Fallon Asked His Fans to Share Funny Failed First Dates Stories – Some of These Will Leave You Speechless
When Jimmy Fallon went on Twitter and asked his followers for their #WorstFirstDate, nobody could have predicted the torrent of terrible date stories that followed. Because bad dates are as cringy as they are entertaining, we’ve selected the very best for you.
Some of these dates are so horrible it’s hard to believe they were even real. Others, however, started with a mishap and developed into a beautiful and long-lasting love story. Either way, they’re all laugh-inspiring and worth sharing.
First Impressions
According to KM Transformational, people can make an opinion about other people they’ve just met in less than 20 seconds. That’s why first impressions are so important, especially in dating. And that’s why “It’s not pee” is such a disastrous opening line to date.

We sure hope Patrick Harris’ date was able to see the humor in the situation and gave him a chance. After all, is there anything better than having a first date with someone who can make you laugh?
Red Flag Alert
Universally used as a sign of danger, a red flag in dating is a sign that a person isn’t right for you. Everybody has their own red flags. But if there’s one we all can get behind, that’s when someone says “The government is always listening.”

There’s nothing more disappointing than showing up for a date expecting a nice evening and ending up listening to two hours of conspiracy theories. Sadly, Klara Cee was given this unfair treatment.
We Feel for You, Kelly!
Kelly Scicluna thought she was meeting a nice man. Instead, she was introduced to his entire family—including his “Can I take the leftovers home with me?” mom.

It can be intimidating to have a first date with someone you don’t know very well. But taking both of your parents with you to meet “the one” is perhaps the least cool move in the book. It’s fine for playdates; it may be okay in some extremely conservative countries; it’s unacceptable when you’re a 25-year-old American man…
“I’m Dying to Meet You”
It’s usually not rude to make a quick stop at the office. But when dead people are involved, it’s like everybody suddenly starts freaking out!

Christine’s date was “dying to meet her” so bad that he decided not to make a stop at home after work before picking her up. Unfortunately, that happened to be a crucial mistake. Christine doesn’t seem to like dead bodies, so we don’t think she and her date were a very good match to start with.
